Goathland offers various Accommodations so you won’t be short when planning your trip. Plenty of Guest Houses, B&B’s, Hotels, Cottages, and Campsite options, in the village or nearby. See a selection in the below links, to start planning your stay.
Goathland is located half way between Whitby and Pickering and close to many other country villages. So plenty to do. The village itself is great for a walk around and a spot of cream tea. Mayllan Spout waterfall is well worth a visit and so is a walk to Beckhole or the Goathland Station. Dalby Forest and Go Ape near Thornton le Dale is also not far away for a bit of adrenaline fun! English Heritage also has lots of sites to see with a short drive from Goathland.
By road within the UK, you have the Bus route, and plenty of road options. The nearest Train Station is Malton.
The nearest airports are Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, and Manchester. These are approximately 2 – 2.5 hours away.
Travelling by Car, we recommend the P&O Ferry from Rotterdam. Great Scenic Journeys provides Coach tours.
