Goathland Holiday Cottages

The Grange

The Grange is a striking former vicarage built in 1897, now thoughtfully converted into welcoming holiday accommodation in the heart of Goathland.

The house sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms: a ground-floor double, an upstairs double with its own en-suite, and a cosy twin room.

The spacious kitchen and dining area is well equipped for family meals, while the sitting room, complete with a woodburning stove, offers a relaxing place to unwind.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private courtyard as well as access to over two acres of shared gardens, with open views across the surrounding fields and woodland.

Foxglove

Foxglove is a charming, one-bedroom barn conversion ideally suited for couples seeking a tranquil retreat in Goathland.

The single-storey layout features an open-plan living space where you can curl up by the woodburning stove, and a well-equipped kitchen/dining area.

The double bedroom includes an en-suite shower. Outside, unwind in the hot tub on the private patio, or relax with views across the valley.

Off-road parking is provided, and indoors you’ll find underfloor heating, WiFi, modern appliances, and all linen and towels supplied.

Meadowsweet

Meadowsweet is a beautifully restored 1880s granary barn, set in a large enclosed gated courtyard on the outskirts of Goathland.

Sleeping up to six guests, it has three comfortable bedrooms — including a master king-size room with a Juliet balcony overlooking the valley, another king-size room (which can be split into twins on request), and a double.

Downstairs you’ll find a spacious kitchen/diner and a welcoming sitting room warmed by a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating.

There are two bathrooms (one with a walk-in shower, a second on the ground floor with a bath), plus a hall, cloakroom and ample living space.

Outside, guests have a private patio, lawn, garden furniture, and off-road parking, and the views stretch across the valley and down to the steam railway.

Meadowsweet also comes equipped with WiFi, a Smart TV, luxury bed linen and towels, and a generous welcome hamper — ideal for families or small groups wanting rustic charm with modern comfort.

Curlew Cottage

Curlew Cottage is a beautifully presented semi-detached house situated on a quiet private lane on the edge of Goathland village. This substantial property offers spacious accommodation with up to five bedrooms and three reception rooms, making it ideal for larger families or groups seeking a comfortable retreat. The cottage features a farmhouse-style kitchen equipped with an AGA, wooden ceiling beams, and an adjoining dining area perfect for sociable family meals. The generous living room boasts an open fire, creating a cosy atmosphere for relaxing evenings. Guests can enjoy panoramic views over adjoining farmland towards the moors and dales of the National Park from almost every room. Outside, the property is set within lovely mature gardens with a delightful terrace and BBQ house, providing a perfect setting for outdoor dining. Off-road parking for up to three cars is available, and the local shop and pub are within half a mile. With attractions like the Mallyan Spout Waterfall and the historic town of Whitby nearby, Curlew Cottage offers a perfect base for exploring the North York Moors.
