Uniquely built into the cliff, this three-story property offers spectacular, panoramic views over East Cliffs, the harbour, the Abbey and out to sea. Guests can unwind in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area on the ground floor, which opens out via French doors onto a balcony, and there is also a sizeable roof terrace with seating and outdoor space to soak up the vistas. The cottage is tucked away off Cliff Street in a quiet area yet still just minutes on foot from Whitby’s shops, bars, restaurants, beach and other town amenities.
Inside, both bedrooms are doubles, each with its own modern en-suite shower room. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, induction hob, fridge with ice-box, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. There are Smart TVs throughout, a Bluetooth sound system, and you’ll also get a welcome pack on arrival.
Note that there are steep cottage-style steps within the property and about ten or so steps down from street level to the front door, so this cottage may not suit guests with mobility issues. Children and dogs are not permitted. Arrival is from 5 pm, departure before 10 am.
